Viva la Cinco de Mayo!!
Cinco de Mayo…let’s talk about that!
Who here knows why we celebrate Cinco de Mayo? Well, that’s easy….we love a good reason for a party! But it is not an American holiday by any means if you look at history. It is actually a holiday celebrating the Mexican’s army’s victory over France at the Battle of Puebla in 1862. And….it is a relatively low celebrated holiday in Mexico, but America has embraced it as a day to celebrate Mexican culture in all of its glory! So bring on a good margarita and an embroidered dress! Here are some of our favorites….and an awesome margarita recipe, too!
